Juejun Chen is an artist and filmmaker working in the mediums of video installation, text-based works, and drawings. She currently lives and works between Kassel and Chongqing. In her practice, she often draws on her personal experiences and cultural background to examine, uncover, and reveal the disciplinary forces that shape people’s behavior in daily life, as well as the systemic violence that is often concealed and disguised.
